We never get tired of finding gold. It doesn't matter whether its the first piece you've ever found, or you're picking up ounces a day. Every piece is a thrill. All the gold we're currently offering came from our lode mine in Sierra County, California. This mine was first opened in the 1800's and was 2 man operation for many years. Eventually the mine was abandoned until the 1960's when another two man team re-opened the mine with a second shaft, and a second rich chimney of gold. According to rumors the two miners were "on the gold" when a serious blasting accident shut the mine. Intending to return they blasted the shaft shut. The mine was again lost to history for nearly the next 50 years when we once again opened the shaft and found it was true that the 1960s miners were on the gold. Now we're on the gold and we're offering some unique pieces for you. You can always contact us for additional gold offerings at Info@TheMiningAlliance.com

This is a nice collection of smaller nuggets recovered by a dredger on the North Fork of the Yuba River. They were recovered the year of the dredging ban and represents some of the last gold he has on hand, until dredging is legal again. According to the miner this is fairly typical of a days cleanup on the North Fork.
Guarantee Weight approx 1.2dwt
Nice little nugget pulled from the Yuba River in 2009 by a dredger. Stuck in a crack with an assortment of other nuggets made it a pretty nice day. Working in about 10' of water the dredger was working an area which had been wing dammed by the original 49ers, but they failed to look deep enough into this crack which held a couple ounces of small nuggets. Just another day on the Yuba River.
A river watering the garden flowed from Eden; from there it was separated into four headwaters. The name of the first is the Pishon; it winds through the entire land of Havilah, where there is gold. The gold of that land is good; Genesis 2:10

Do you know where your gold comes from? Does it matter? It does to us. Much of the gold mined in the world today is destructive of the environment, of communities and of people. We know where our gold comes from because we personally know the miners who are producing it. They choose to sell with us because they get a better price.
Sure, gold is gold, but wouldn't you like to know the story behind your gold? Like the dredger who found a couple ounces under a boulder which was still propped up by a wooden post from the gold rush? Or how about the dredger who used a flashlight to look in a crack cleaned out by the Gold Rush miners only to see in the very bottom ounces of gold they couldn't see? All of our gold has a story, it's not just a commodity. It's your chance to own a piece of the Gold Rush.
Individual small scale miners still produce a lot of gold per year. According to a survey conducted by the California Department of Fish and Game in 2008 small-scale miners accounted for about 14,000 ounces of gold production per year making them collectively the 2nd largest producer of gold in California.
California has always been a small-scale mining state. The use of suction dredges to recover gold began in the 1940's and enormous quantities of gold have been recovered by dredgers using this techique. The gold suction dredge is the most environmentally friendly form of gold mining yet invented and adds nothing to the water and causes no lasting environmental effects. The current ban on the use of dredges has crippled the ability of miners to earn a living while providing no environmental benefit. Support small-scale miners by buying their gold from this page.

The River Pishon Some say all the gold in California was from the Pishon River mentioned in Genesis. The source of most of the gold throughout the west is from ancient dead rivers. The primary course of this river was from south to north running from the tip of South America all the way to the Klondike as one unbroken river. No river in the world compares to this enormous river of gold.
