Report Description

This is the 2020 Advanced Report. The Advanced Report provides information in "advance" of official BLM updates. This is the initial listing of federal mining claims which appear to have some issue and MAY be forfeited in 2020

As usual we see a lot of claim activity in Arizona. Every year we see about 2,000 claims forfeited, and about that number of new filings. This Advanced Report provides you with our "Watch" list which means we're watching about 2,000 claims to see if they'll actually be forfeited. This year we've got our eye on a lode mine which was first filed in 1927, but there's about 2 dozen other claims which may come available which were filed on in the 1950's. Arizona always has a lot of interesting claims, and some of potential commercial value.

Always do your homework when you're working off our "Watch" list. There are a number of reasons a claim could be on this list and not be forfeited. This includes BlM hasn't updated their database yet; there may be some fixable issue with the filing; the claim owner traditionally files a small miner's waiver, but hasn't filed the Affadavit of Assessment work yet; or the claim owner forgot to file.

This is an extremely valuable resource if you're looking for your own mining claim, or wish to upgrade your mining properites if you use it correctly.
